Sonic wallets are designed to interact with and store cryptocurrencies and digital assets on the Sonic blockchain. These wallets serve as the foundational interface for users to access and manage their assets on the network.

🦊 How To Add The Sonic Network To Your Metamask Wallet

Sonic can be added as a custom network to any EVM-compatible wallet.

To add Sonic as a custom network to MetaMask, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Metamask browser extension.
  2. Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top of the extension.

  1. Click the ”Add network” button.
  2. Click ”Add a network manually”.

  1. In the dialogue box that appears, enter the following information for Sonic mainnet:
Network Name Sonic Mainnet
Description The public mainnet for Sonic.
RPC Endpoint https://rpc.soniclabs.com/
Chain ID 146
Currency Symbol S
Block Explorer https://sonicscan.org/

Alternatively, you can automatically add Sonic to your wallet by using the ChainList application.

  1. Connect your MetaMask Wallet to the ChainList app.

  2. Input “Sonic” in the search bar at the top of the page.

  3. Click “Add to MetaMask” and Sonic will be automatically added to your wallet.
