Wallets are what most people use to handle their digital assets and identity.
Ethereum wallets are tools that provide users with control over their accounts. Much like a physical wallet, these applications encompass the necessary elements to confirm identity and manage assets. Ethereum wallets enable users to access applications, view account balances, execute transactions, and verify their identities.
Your Ethereum wallet is the tool with which you engage with your Ethereum account. You have the flexibility of switching wallet providers at your convenience. Additionally, numerous wallets offer the convenience of managing multiple Ethereum accounts through a single application.
It's important to note that wallet providers do not have custody over your funds. Instead, they offer a transparent view of your assets on the Ethereum network and provide user-friendly tools for efficient asset management.
The Ethereum network is the default network on Metamask.
To switch from another network to Ethereum,
When you open your MetaMask wallet, you will be able to see your current network at the top of the display.
You can easily access the network options by clicking the downward arrow located next to your current network.
You should see a list of different available networks.
Select the Ethereum network.
